History

Blom Consultancy was founded in 1992 by Steven Blom. At Fuji Film in Japan, he became acquainted with Japanese forms of organisation and company structures, and he studied the methods that the Japanese use to manufacture successfully.

As production director of Fuji Film's plant in Tilburg, the Netherlands, when it was founded, Steven had the unique opportunity to adapt these techniques to the Dutch culture and to steadily improve them over the next nine years. By 1992, Steven wanted to make this knowledge available to other companies and decided to start his own company: Blom Consultancy.  Blom Consultancy had since become a strong brand name for continuous improvement in the Dutch market .
